Sequenzy handles both transactional emails (password resets, receipts, notifications) and marketing campaigns in one platform. Mailmodo separates these into different products. If you want everything unified, Sequenzy is simpler.

3. You Want AI-Generated Sequences

Sequenzy includes 120,000 emails/month at $49/mo. Mailmodo's highest standard plan is 60,000 emails at $99/mo. If you're sending newsletters, product updates, or lifecycle emails to an active user base, Sequenzy's pricing scales much better.

1. Interactive Emails Are Core to Your Strategy

Mailmodo pioneered AMP emails—users can fill forms, complete surveys, respond to polls, and browse carousels without leaving their inbox. They claim 3x higher conversion rates with interactive emails. Sequenzy doesn't support AMP emails. If interactivity matters to you, Mailmodo has a genuine technological advantage.

2. You Need In-Email Forms and Surveys

Collecting feedback via email? Mailmodo lets you embed NPS surveys, feedback forms, and quizzes directly in the email body. Users respond without clicking through to a landing page. This reduces friction and can significantly boost response rates.

3. You Run an E-commerce Business

Mailmodo has Shopify integration, abandoned cart flows with AMP interactivity, and product recommendations. Sequenzy doesn't have e-commerce integrations. We don't have e-commerce integrations.

4. You Want an Extensive Template Library

Mailmodo offers 500+ pre-built templates for both HTML and AMP emails. Our template library is still growing. If you need ready-made designs to get started quickly, Mailmodo has more options.

5. You Send Fewer Emails to a Large List

Mailmodo prices by emails sent, not subscribers. If you have 50,000 contacts but only email them monthly, Mailmodo's 10,000-email plan at $39/mo could be cheaper than our email-volume pricing.

Honest Limitations of Sequenzy
