Across these social proof email examples, brands use reviews, ratings, testimonials and expert claims as content that supports an offer or call to action. Prashanti Sarees repeats one preview line, while TourRadar and OfficeSupply use increasingly specific deadline-led offers.

Prashanti Sarees uses the same preview text, "Love Sarees ? Adore Prashanti", on three of the 40 emails shown. The repeated line appears beneath three separate seasonal campaign emails sent on consecutive days, while each subject line changes the featured saree collections and campaign framing. That gives the brand a consistent recognition cue without repeating the full subject line.
Some onboarding emails lead with a clear question, promise or customer perspective, including "Which bookmaking tool is right for you?" and "It changed not only how I work, but how I live". Sale emails also combine deadlines and savings, as in "Last Chance to Save on Gorgeous Styles", "Under 12 hours, then prices go back up" and "LIMITED TIME: 25% Off Travel & Gramercy Jeans".
OfficeSupply first uses "⚠️ ALERT: 20% Off Your Next Order!" and later follows with "⏰ Last Chance: 20% Off Your Next Order!". Both emails include free shipping and social proof, while the later subject foregrounds the last chance to claim the offer. TourRadar follows a similar progression: one sale email says the Escape Sale ends in 24 hours, and another says there are under 12 hours left. Both emails pair the deadline with featured trips, booking protection and 24/7 support.
Nerd Fitness also uses an offer in an activation nudge. Its later email says "Last chance - your discount expires tonight" and directs readers toward a free coaching call, while the email content addresses objections and includes a client testimonial. Together, these examples show urgency being paired with a concrete benefit and supporting information.
Social proof appears in 100% of all the emails in this collection. Brands use different forms of evidence: Taskrabbit includes five-star reviews and protection coverage, Zapier cites teams using an automation workflow, Everything Kitchens uses an America's Test Kitchen endorsement, and Terminix combines company statistics with customer testimonials. KERNEL and Klarify use customer testimonials in a more personal, founder-led voice, while Oura points to research behind its health insights.
The calls to action vary with the email's content. The Information, Calendly, Optimal Workshop and Notability are each marked with a single cta. Other emails offer several routes, such as browsing products, watching a video, taking a quiz or requesting help. Product grids appear in UNice, TourRadar, prashantisarees.com, Everything Kitchens and Bonobos, while videos appear in Snapmaker, KEH, Everything Kitchens, Hellobar and Optimalworkshop. Free shipping appears in UNice, OfficeSupply, Phase Eight, Hobbs, Beauty Bay, Bonobos and Keh.
Social proof emails use reviews, ratings, customer logos and testimonials to build trust, often at the moment of hesitation.
A quote with a name and detail beats a generic five-star badge.
Use reviews about fit in fashion, results in software, taste in food.
