Sequence · 2 emails over 23 days
Studocu's three emails teach one product feature each, and none of them leans on a discount or a sale. Subject lines stay short and direct, and the shared preview text "Don't forget to follow your courses" is not reused; instead the tone shifts from a friendly welcome to a sharper feature pitch.
Its sequences first, then the emails it sent outside them, in the order they arrived.
Sequence · 2 emails over 23 days
Updated Oct 30, 2026
All three emails in this gallery are onboarding, activation nudge, or feature announcement emails, and none of them makes an offer. The first email, sent on day 22, introduces study materials, quizzes, and lecture recording tools, and mentions the Premium plan and mobile app as ways to keep going. The email on day 23 asks the reader to follow their courses so they get notified about new notes. The email on day 24 introduces Studocu AI as a study assistant.
The cadence is one email per day across days 22, 23, and 24, with each email building on the one before it. The onboarding sequence has two emails, and the feature announcement sits outside it, so the brand moves from orientation to a single action to a new capability in three consecutive days.
The subject lines are concrete and plain. The welcome email uses "👋 [First name], welcome to Studocu!", which puts the reader's name next to a greeting. The activation nudge reads "Find the notes your classmates are sharing.", which names the action and the social pull of classmates. The feature email reads "Don't open this in class!", a playful line that makes the product sound like something to use before the exam rather than during class.
Preview text is used in a different way in each email. "Everything you need to study" sets up the welcome email, "Don't forget to follow your courses" repeats the instruction from the subject line in softer form, and "Meet the study assistant designed to help you prepare for exams." introduces the AI tool plainly. No preview text is reused across emails.
Only the welcome email and the activation nudge are personalized, and the feature announcement is not. The welcome email puts the reader's first name in the subject line, which is the clearest use of personalization in this set. The activation nudge is personalized in its body, while the feature email is generic in design. The colors are blue for the first two emails and pink for the feature announcement, so the color change also marks the shift from setup to a new product.
