Day 20 after signup
Who gets to shape the future of technology?
Here's what backing good tech alternatives looks like and how you can help.
Why it works
- Open with a timely contrast that makes the central issue clear before introducing the organization’s work.
- Use one concrete Fellow and project to make the mission tangible, then place the donation ask beside that example and repeat it near the close.

Donate Hello, Every week brings another headline about what a few tech billionaires are building next. The latest? A personal AI agent that failed its safety tests. Still launched it. Over the past few weeks, we've shared some different stories. We talked about the posters we pasted across New York City comparing those billionaires to our 2026 Mozilla Fellows. Each one asked the same question: who gets to shape the future of technology? The billionaires have their answer. Our Fellows have a different one. They're building tech with the communities who'll use it, solving problems they've lived firsthand, and putting people back in control. None of that happens without people who believe it should exist. Support from people like you is what makes this work possible, from the first spark of an idea to the tools people use every day. Can you make your first gift of $10 today and help back the people building good tech alternatives? Donate $10 → Donate $25 → Donate $50 → Donate $75 → Donate $100 → I’ll donate another amount → Mozilla Fellow Rose Njeri Tunguru’s answer is Open Elections Kenya, an open-source tool for tallying votes alongside the official count. Ahead of Kenya’s 2027 elections, it will let people check official results for themselves instead of taking them on faith. It builds on her earlier work: a tool that made it easy for Kenyans to email their elected officials. With Rose’s tools, people don’t just hope they’ve been heard. They can verify. Rose is one of ten builders in our 2026 Fellows cohort. Our builders are answering the challenge of this moment–not with joyrides, but with tools people use every day. Stories like Rose’s are why we do this work. People like you are how we keep doing it. Will you make your first gift of $10 today? Donate $10 → Donate $25 → Donate $50 → Donate $75 → Donate $100 → I’ll donate another amount → The posters will come down eventually, but the answer they pointed to won't. A good tech future won't just be built by billionaires. It'll be built by all of us, and we'd love to build it with you. With gratitude, Kat Cadungog Program Manager, Fellowships Mozilla Foundation Mozilla Foundation is building a better technology future—powered by people, open by design, fueled by imagination.
