- End the highlights with a clear invitation to explore the full schedule and plan a visit.
How it is built

Hello, From October 28–30 MozFest 2026 will take place at Fabra i Coats in our host city, Barcelona. The theme is Wilding, and there are around 200 sessions, labs and installations. That's a lot of ways to grow a wilder, more open internet. Explore the schedule → Get your hands dirty (sometimes literally) Dead Soil, Live Data (Thu, 10:00): Build your very first soil sensor. Yes, you'll walk away with actual dirt data. Birdsong Amulet (Wed, 12:30): An accessory, an instrument AND an electronic familiar. I need one. Craft as Code (Wed, 14:15): Crochet patterns as algorithms. Your grandmother was a programmer all along. Making music with strudel.cc (Wed, 16:45): Live-code a beat. No musical talent required, only curiosity. The delightfully unexpected The Witch and the Engineer: Hybrid Divination for the AI Age (Thu, 10:00): Tarot, meet tech stack. 1000 Unread Emails: a Collective Junk Mail Poetry Lab (Thu, 15:30): Finally, a use for your inbox. (Not this email though. Keep reading.) The Art of Cyberbullying: Making Authoritarians Dread the Internet (Wed, 16:45): Sofia Ongele, Jack Petocz and Hana Memon teach mischief with a mission. Who Gets to Be Native? Re-Wilding Belonging in Barcelona Through Food (Fri, 14:15): A conversation you can eat. Bring your spiciest takes Abolish AI vs. Build a People's AI (Fri, 15:30): Sasha Costanza-Chock, Tawana Petty, Janet Vertesi and friends in a live debate. Pick a side, or change your mind mid-session. Attack the AI. Then Defend It. (Wed, 10:00): Break it, then fix it. Very satisfying. Mozilla Foundation Incubator Showcase (Thu, 18:00): Anil Dash, Nabiha Syed and a lineup of builders showing what's next. And then… human towers On Wednesday at 19:00, Colla Castellera Jove de Barcelona will build Castells, the Catalan human towers made of community, trust and a lot of shoulders. If there ever was a metaphor for MozFest, that's it: we climb higher together. To round out the week, close your laptop for the closing party, La Noche Se Desborda, and celebrate together the wonderful wilded week we had together. Open the full schedule, add sessions to My Schedule, and start plotting your festival: Explore the schedule → There's so much more than I could share here, so go get lost in it. That's kind of the point of wilding.
