We get to build the future, not just billionaires. Elon, Jeff, and Mark are building a future that serves them. Rudy, Rose, and Iara are building one that serves all of us. Meet the Fellows → Every tech headline is a fork in the road. Here are three. Elon buys the blue bird. He trashes the place. Rudy builds Blacksky. Communities call the shots. In a world built by Elons: Be a Rudy. Wannabe kings don’t rule the internet. We all do. Jeff builds a rocket. Celebrities go to outer space. Rose builds democracy tools. Kenyan voices grow stronger. In a world built by Jeffs: Be a Rose. Joyrides won’t build a better future. We all will. Mark gets into eyewear. Gives creepers, peepers. Iara builds local AI. Exposes political violence. In a world built by Marks: Be an Iara. The powerful shouldn’t choose what we see. We all decide. Rudy, Rose, and Iara are three of the ten builders in our 2026 Fellows cohort. They aren’t chasing the same end game as the Jeffs, Marks, and Elons of the world. Instead, they’re building with the people, solving problems they’ve experienced themselves. Their projects tell us they know what’s at stake—from our freedom to speak freely, to our ability to shape politics, to our access to information—and that they’re unafraid to challenge power so we all get a say in what comes next. A better tech future won’t build itself. We will. And Mozilla Fellows are already proving it.
