Gamma moves from a signup-day welcome into practical creation guidance, then adds sharing and upgrade prompts across its eight-email onboarding sequence. Reused preview text, conversational subjects, and a compact sequence provide clear examples for adaptation.

Gamma starts with a signup-day welcome that introduces ways to make presentations and graphics, then moves into practical onboarding. On day 2, it points new users toward prompts and examples for presentations, social posts, proposals, and other ideas. On day 3, it turns the process into three steps: choose a starting point, shape the content, and share or export it.
The sequence then shifts into monetization. On day 4, an upgrade email introduces Plus through more credits, higher usage limits, and unbranded presentations. A feature-tip email arrives the same day, congratulating the user on making edits and introducing themes, collaboration, custom domains, and templates. On day 5, Gamma sends sharing guidance before another upgrade email compares plan limits, branding controls, sharing options, and monthly credits. The final email on day 6 adds custom branding, stronger models, higher limits, and monthly credits to the upgrade case. All of these messages belong to Gamma's eight-email onboarding sequence.
Gamma reuses the preview text "Share your gammas with others. Here’s how." in both an early onboarding email and the later sharing email. The first appears on day 2, while the later email arrives on day 5 and introduces ways to collaborate, export, and publish presentations.
Several subject lines use conversational wording. "[First name], prompt your next big idea" and "[First name], it's Gamma time!" are personalized onboarding subjects, while "Did someone say more?" introduces the first upgrade prompt. The examples also pair subject lines with preview text, including "Get started in 3 simple steps." and "Enjoy more features, power, and magic."
Gamma does not make the first upgrade email carry every selling point. It starts with a broad invitation, follows with a comparison of free and Plus capabilities, and then adds a fuller list of limits, branding, models, and credits. The three upgrade emails therefore highlight different details: more AI credits, higher usage limits, unbranded presentations, plan comparisons, custom branding, stronger models, and monthly credits.
The blue treatment appears throughout the day 4 to day 6 stretch, covering both feature education and upgrade prompts. Personalization appears across these later emails, and several messages use a single CTA. The sequence also places creation guidance before the upgrade prompts, while later messages include sharing and feature education alongside paid-plan details.
