When asked to step up for public lands, our community didn’t hesitate. No matter how you got involved, thank you! You helped make Giving Day a huge success, providing a critical boost to help us safeguard America’s public lands at a time when public support is urgently needed. Because of supporters like you, TPL can continue advancing projects that connect people to the joys and benefits of the outdoors, including:   The Florida Gulf Coast Trail, which will be one of the longest continuous trails in Florida, spanning nearly 420 miles across seven coastal counties. Cahuenga Peak in Los Angeles, where TPL is working to expand recreational opportunities, safeguard the ecosystem, and protect views of the iconic Hollywood sign. 225 schoolyards across New York City, which are being transformed into vibrant public play spaces.   These are just a few examples of the work your support helps make possible—creating and protecting parks and public lands in communities where they’re needed most, and ensuring everyone can experience the benefits of the outdoors.
