Hey LlamaIndex Community! 🦙 We had a busy SF Tech Week where we won best demo, hosted 500+ people at a gala and as if that wasn't enough, we decided "why not also launch our own drink?" Somewhere in between we also shipped Extract v2.5. Check it out ➡️ ⚡️ Extract v2.5: more accurate, same price ⚡️ Cost Effective now beats the old Agentic, and Agentic now beats the old Agentic Plus, at the same per-page price. It’s built for the docs that used to need manual cleanup: long lists, records that span pages, and scanned forms. Upgrading is a one-setting change, and your existing schemas work as-is. Try it here! 🚢 JUST SHIPPED OpenDocRouter: Picking an OCR model shouldn’t take a month of testing. OpenDocRouter puts all parsing models behind one API, each benchmarked on ParseBench for quality and cost, so you can compare them and switch with a one-line change. Plus, you get $5 of free credits to try it out! Better citations in Extract: Extract v2.5 nearly doubled bounding-box grounding, so more of your extracted values point to the exact spot on the page they came from. Advanced Citations are now included in the Agentic tier too. 👋🏽 IRL RECENTLY: AI Demo Night: We co-hosted a builders demo night with Clickhouse and Artie Labs for SF Tech Week! Imaan from our growth team took home best demo. Agent Economy Gala: 500+ founders and investors packed the room on Friday for SF Tech Week's biggest event! We had a great time co-hosting a black-tie gala with SpaceX, Lemma, Daytona, TinyFish, and more. AI Leaders Dinner @ AIE New York: We co-hosted a dinner with Comet for AI leaders shipping in production, after day two of AI Engineer New York. n8n In the Loop Berlin: We had a blast chatting with prospects at our booth! COMING UP: A total-loss claim shows up as a whole packet: valuation reports, appraisals, settlement breakdowns, and title docs, with option grids that run to 1,500 cells. We’re building the workflow live with LlamaParse. Every extracted value comes with a citation and a confidence score, so only the shaky fields go to a reviewer. Bring your messiest claims docs! Google's new flagship multimodal model went broadly available on October 13 after a limited early-tester period. At introductory pricing, it costs half as much per token as Claude Opus 5.5 and one-fifth as much as GPT-6 Astra. Reduced pricing ends November 30. A $30B IPO died in 48 hours. Nvidia-backed Firmus was on the cusp of one of Australia's biggest-ever IPOs, then the deal fell apart within 48 hours after US fund managers balked at the valuation. Their pitch was a gigawatt of AI compute, but the reality was about 42 megawatts. AI agents now have wallets. Nvidia-Agent transactions on the Base blockchain have passed 138 million, according to Chainalysis. The same day, Fragment raised $12M to keep AI agents from going rogue with company money.
