Amazon Rebuilds Its Ad Platform Around AI Agents Amazon unveiled an overhauled version of its ad platform with agentic buying at its core. Amazon Ads Agent will replace the Amazon Ad Console and use AI agents to help advertisers streamline campaign planning across multiple ad formats. The souped-up platform comes as many companies start to tout their agentic buying capabilities, Lauren reports. Read more 2. Advertisers Can Directly Influence Amazon’s Alexa Responses Alexa is also getting an AI-powered upgrade, with a new ad format that appears when consumers tap on prompts surfaced within Alexa for Shopping. The new feature gives advertisers more room to customize AI responses, such as explaining how a product works or differentiates from competitors’, as Amazon courts more brand budgets. Read more 3. OpenAI Takes On Meta's Muse With Dots, an Always-On AI Agent The agent wars are on. OpenAI released Dots on Tuesday, an AI agent that competes head-on with Meta’s Muse. OpenAI described Dots as an always-on assistant that can work across connected apps, run several projects at once, and learn from user preferences over time, Trishla Ostwal reports. Read more 4. Meta Eyes Enterprise Spend With Muse for Small Business Launch Speaking of Muse, Meta rolled out an enterprise extension for small businesses that connects its AI agent to software from B2B companies as well as Meta ad accounts and Facebook profiles. The new product comes as AI companies eye enterprise budgets as the next lever of growth for their popular chatbots. Read more 5. Paradium.AI, Formerly The Arena Group, to Sell 49% Stake to Roundtable—If It Can Raise $89M The digital publisher formerly known as The Arena Group is now Paradium.AI, after striking a 10-year deal with media and technology firm Roundtable that gives it a 49% stake in the company for about $89 million. Roundtable will take over most of Paradium’s operations in exchange for a rev-share, while Paradium will keep ownership over its brands and license tech to Roundtable in exchange for stock.
