This Founder Built Distribution Before His Breakout 🦜 Jure Sotošek built more than 10 products that went nowhere. Then his car-hardware business taught him the skill that changed everything: distribution. He brought his short-form marketing playbook to ParakeetAI, a real-time AI assistant he built over a weekend. Less than two years later, it's doing more than $1M in monthly (!) revenue. ParakeetAI began as an AI assistant for high-stakes job interviews, listening to conversations and surfacing useful answers in real time. Jure built the original version with a simple stack and charged as soon as it was usable, using credit-card payments instead of compliments as the signal that mattered. The product has since expanded into sales calls, meetings, recruiting, and other live conversations. The full interview gets into the entire story behind Jure's success with ParakeetAI, from building the weekend MVP, to his decision to charge early, to his plan to turn an interview tool into a broader real-time AI assistant. Context.dev replaces that fragmented stack with one developer-friendly API for clean Markdown, raw HTML, screenshots, images, and structured JSON. Browser rendering is included by default, with stealth and automatic proxy escalation when needed. And the pricing stays simple: 1 credit = 1 successful scrape. No rendering surcharge. No stealth multiplier. No premium-proxy add-on. No charge for failed requests. Those are the same pricing and infrastructure terms used in the previous Indie Hackers campaign.
