Cargo Newsletter 397 Oct 20 26 Section 1 boundary A clear sky is a pool of alien blood. An overcast sky is the paperwork of overdraft charges. A night sky is the space between the stair treads of an unlit basement. A human head is a mist of lists in a landfill. The terrain is a row of cheap, inverted witch chins. The journey is an aching molar on an empty toll road in an invisible hearse — but somehow, a genuine privilege. Humans in all cases are (and were and will be) naive; recollection being repetition via recollection, for example. Also, many columns don’t support anything, but quite a few really do. Also, be careful of the cave webs — sticky views sticking to each other in sticky brains, for the spider will make its move soon. Edgar Rodriguez @operadora_ Edgar Rodriguez’s spectacular site of precisionist, biographical infographics is involuntarily smashing (in our mind) against Bas Jan Ader’s piece All My Clothes — as some sort of poles of high level evidences of selfhood. Duration Each week we consult the Tarot and the I Ching. To submit a question, send an email to oracle@cargo.site These first few lines are the general aphoristic returns for the week. They are raw and uninterpreted; there to use how you’d like. (The specific readings follow.) To thrive, to create, one must be in accord with what fosters thriving and creativity. Duh. Do not delay in fixing obvious problems. Accepting difficulties (like losses) is a way of building the serenity needed to do great things. Endurance requires flexibility. Question from “D.M.T.”: If it is the case that information comes in, to a human’s mind, filtered first by (or pre-noticed by recollection) so as to make new memories out of information — to add to the coterie of recollections for future usefulness, i.e. tools for a human’s general survival (e.g. preemptive instincts of danger avoidance and the like). That is, the formation of a memory is impure and weirdly insubstantial, a biased impression, which in turn fades, then kind of freezes, then is categorized, then stored/filed somehow in the quantum-esque (a scenario not affected by Newtonian physics and/or whatnot) sort of durable but vapory, in-head, liquid(?) dimension(?). That is, if the bias of the organizing mechanism is transcendental
