This week, we have a few promising research roles to highlight: SASH is a nonprofit based in Singapore, building a platform in Asia for AI safety governance, technical research, and ecosystem development. They're hiring for: Research Engineer / Research Scientist, Zero-Knowledge Verification: In this role, you'd develop and optimise zero-knowledge proof systems to enable verification of AI models and data centres. Research Engineer / Research Scientist, Remote Compute Accounting: In this role, you'd design and test verification protocols to account for computational capacity in AI data centres. Research Engineer / Research Scientist, Confidential Computing: In this role, you'd determine whether hardware attestation reliably verifies what code and models run in AI data centres. The Safe AI Forum (SAIF) aims to foster responsible governance to reduce catastrophic risks through shared understanding and collaboration among key global actors. They're hiring for a Researcher / Senior Researcher, Misuse Risks to own SAIF's programmes on extreme misuse risks, building consensus between Western and Chinese ecosystems. Other updates Last week, Accenture announced that its subsidiary Faculty will embed safety evaluators inside Anthropic as part of a new partnership. We have many Faculty roles live on the board and think there's now a case that these roles could be very impactful, though it will come down to what these embedded roles look like in practice.
