Its immediate predecessor is the best-selling nonmobile game of all time. The game's release is causing other entertainment companies to delay products until next year because they know GTA VI will suck up the planet's attention for most of November. It will almost certainly be the most expensive video game ever created. This article looks at how Rockstar Games built what is expected to be the biggest video game blockbuster of all time. Perseverance landed on Mars in February 2021 and has been traveling in and around the Jezero Crater since. It was set to surpass the driving record back in August, but it came across some interesting rocks, so it dawdled for two months. Perseverance most likely still has many miles to go in the coming years. This article contains some of the highlights from its drive so far. Things are finally looking up for NASA's first missions to Venus in a generation (13 minute read) Two NASA missions are on track to launch to Venus in the early 2030s. The Deep Atmosphere Venus Investigation of Noble gases, Chemistry, and Imaging (DAVINCI), which will send a parachute-assisted descent probe through Venus' atmosphere, is now scheduled for launch in December 2030. The Venus Emissivity, Radio science, InSAR, Topography, And Spectroscopy (VERITAS) mission will launch in November 2032 to map the Venusian surface by radar from orbit. The European Space Agency is building an orbiter for launch to Venus in 2032, and Rocket Lab plans to launch a privately funded probe as soon as next year to search for signs of organic material in the planet's clouds. π» Programming, Design & Data Science State of Product reveals what AI still hasn't solved (Sponsor) 99% of product teams have fully integrated AI into at least one workflow. As AI becomes part of everyday work, it's expanding what PMs, designers, and engineers can do and changing how they work together. Atlassian's State of Product 2027 explores what comes after adoption, from broader roles to harder choices about where teams should focus. Read the report Code you didn't write (3 minute read) Being able to tell clean code from messy code is still useful, but it's becoming something that tools can help with. Knowing what shape a program should have before anyone writes it is something AI still can't do yet. The best way to get better at AI coding might be to spend more time thinking about problems and less time thinking about prompts. The programmers that get the most o
