An idea for something lighter Vue.js is an open source JavaScript framework for building user interfaces. While working at Google, Evan You often built projects with AngularJS. He wanted to take the parts he liked and turn them into a lighter framework. That personal project was released publicly in 2014, and it became Vue.js. He later went full time on Vue with support from open source sponsors, built the build tool Vite, and is now the CEO of VoidZero. More than ten years later, Vue is one of the most widely used front-end frameworks in the world. This October, he is coming to v-conf Taiwan in Taipei! Besides Evan You's opening talk, the Taipei event includes an introduction to Vue Language Tools, a hands-on session on repackaging an open source library with tsdown, and a talk titled "Now that everyone builds with AI, do we still need to learn Vue?" If you build with Vue, this is a chance to hear the creator talk about where Vue is heading and to meet the Vue community in Taiwan. 📍 NCCU Public Affairs Center, A2 International Conference Hall | 🗓 10/17 (Sat) check-in 09:00 Full agenda Want to connect with more Vue developers? If you have notes about Vue, such as learning logs, lessons from bugs you ran into, or project write-ups, you can publish them to HackMD Community with the vue.js tag. Developers who follow Vue will find your notes on Community and can talk with you in the comments. The HackMD Team Unsubscribe 651 N Broad St, Suite 201 Middletown, New Castle County Delaware 19709
