Hi [First name], Two updates this week: Dynamic Links are here, and we’re upgrading the version of Flutter that powers FlutterFlow. Dynamic Links are here Dynamic Links are back, this time built by FlutterFlow. Create short, shareable links that open your app to a specific page with the parameters you need. If someone doesn't have your app yet, the link sends them to the App Store, Google Play, or your web app. Use them for referrals, invites, and shared content, and track every click and app open. Available as a $10/month add-on. We’re upgrading Flutter We’re also rolling out an upgrade to the version of Flutter that powers FlutterFlow. We’ve been testing this release in beta, running it through our automated test suite, and addressing issues surfaced by beta users. For the vast majority of projects, there’s nothing you need to do. The upgrade keeps FlutterFlow current with the latest Flutter improvements and fixes, while unlocking support for newer packages and features. One thing to know: Flutter apps can use a huge range of third-party packages, so we can’t test every possible combination. We expect well under 1% of projects to run into compatibility issues, primarily those using certain third-party packages or uncommon integrations. If your project is affected, Growth plans and above can switch back to the previous Flutter version while you troubleshoot. Go to Project Settings → Pinned FlutterFlow Version, select the previous stable version, save your changes, and run or deploy your app again. If you’re still running into issues after rolling back, reach out to our support team with your project link, the error you’re seeing, and any relevant screenshots. We’ll help you figure out what’s going on. We’ll be watching the rollout closely and updating our guidance if we see particular packages or configurations causing problems. How do you build an app people actually return to? You launched the app. People signed up. Now, why aren't they coming back? On Oct 14, 10 AM EST, Erik Goins from Flywheel Studio is breaking down activation, retention, re-engagement, and how to give users a real reason to return. RSVP here.
