When should you choose Sequenzy?
1. You Want Simpler Pricing
At 10,000 subscribers, Sequenzy costs $49/mo. Encharge costs $179-249/mo depending on plan—that's 3-5x more expensive. Encharge's pricing also splits features between Growth and Premium tiers, adding complexity.
2. You Need Transactional Emails on All Plans
Sequenzy includes transactional emails (password resets, receipts) on all plans with a separate system. Encharge requires Premium ($249+) for transactional emails. If you need both and want to save money, Sequenzy is the choice.
3. You Need Native Stripe SaaS Integration
Sequenzy syncs subscription data, MRR, and churn signals from Stripe for SaaS lifecycle automation. Encharge has Stripe integration but it's more payment-focused than subscription management.
4. You Want a Permanent Free Tier
Sequenzy offers a permanent free tier with 100 subscribers. Encharge only has a 14-day trial.
When should you stick with Encharge?
1. You Need HubSpot or Salesforce Integration
We don't have HubSpot or Salesforce integration. Encharge offers deep sync with both CRMs on their Premium plan. If your sales team lives in HubSpot or Salesforce, Encharge connects them to marketing automation.
2. You Need Broad Integration Coverage
Encharge has 48+ integrations including Segment, Intercom, Chargebee, Facebook Ads, and more. If you need to connect many tools, Encharge likely has more pre-built integrations.
3. You Need E-commerce Support
We don't have Shopify or WooCommerce integration. Encharge Premium includes both. If you run an online store alongside your SaaS, Encharge can handle both.
4. You Need Custom Objects
Encharge Premium supports custom objects for complex data models. We're adding this, but don't have it yet.
5. You're Already Using Segment
We don't have Segment.com integration. Encharge can receive events from Segment directly. If you've built your analytics around Segment, Encharge integrates natively.
