Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Sequenzy Goals & Attribution.

Last-touch attribution credits a conversion to the most recent email a subscriber interacted with before converting. If they clicked Email A, then opened Email B, then purchased - Email B gets credit. We prioritize clicks over opens since they indicate stronger intent.

The attribution window is how far back we look for email interactions. If set to 24 hours and someone converts, we check if they opened or clicked any email in the last 24 hours. Choose shorter windows for impulse purchases, longer for considered decisions.

Yes. When you create a goal, specify the event property name to track (e.g., 'amount') and give it a label (e.g., 'Revenue'). Sequenzy extracts and sums these values for each email. Works for any numeric property - revenue, scores, points, etc.

That conversion is recorded as 'unattributed'. You can see both attributed and unattributed conversions in your dashboard. High unattributed rates might mean your attribution window is too short or conversions come through other channels.

Yes. Stripe purchase events automatically work with goals. Create a goal triggered by 'saas.purchase' and revenue from the Stripe webhook is automatically tracked.

Yes. Create company-wide goals to track overall revenue, or automation-specific goals to measure individual sequence performance. Most SaaS founders use both.

GA tracks website behavior. Sequenzy tracks email-to-conversion attribution. They complement each other - GA shows the full journey, Sequenzy shows specifically which emails drove conversions.
