Hi [First name],

We launched two new products today: Depot Managed Agents and Sandboxes.

Coding agents need machines to run commands, build projects, and execute tests. We've built that support on the same infrastructure that already runs your builds and CI.

Managed Agents

Run your Claude Code, Claude Managed Agents, OpenAI, and Devin sessions on Depot. Keep your existing provider account, agents, and prompts. Depot supplies the compute, so there's no worker to deploy or VM to manage.

Sessions keep running after you close your laptop. You also get:

  • Session continuity: Resume sessions with your workspace files in place.
  • Depot Cache: Reuse build artifacts and test results across runs.
  • Private networking: Access private services over Tailscale when configured.
  • Sandbox sizes: Choose machines from 2 to 16 vCPUs.
  • Agent runs: See sessions across connected providers in one place.

Sandboxes

Create isolated Linux microVMs directly from your own code using the Sandbox SDK. Run commands, install dependencies, execute tests, and manage files. Choose machines from 2 to 64 vCPUs.

Sandboxes run on the same infrastructure as Managed Agents, with access to snapshots, Depot Cache, and private networking.

Get started

  • Managed Agents: Open Settings → Connections → Agent providers and connect your provider. The Managed Agents docs walk through setup for each provider.

Both products share one pool of included compute with Depot CI, with additional usage billed by the vCPU-second.
