Supabase Update — October 2026
Hey there 👋,
Here’s everything that happened with Supabase in the last month:
Build anything: Supabase from code, and an MCP server for your app
Your agent can now set up your backend from code, test changes locally, and deploy your web app and services next to your database.
Operate with confidence
New data, tools, and controls give your agent what it needs to observe your project, investigate issues, and propose fixes on its own. Pipelines now stream your Postgres data to BigQuery, ClickHouse, DuckLake, and Snowflake in public alpha.
Scale without limits: Multigres, OrioleDB, and dbarena
Multigres brings high availability and connection pooling to Postgres in private alpha, and OrioleDB, a high-performance storage engine, is now in Public Beta. DBARENA publishes open benchmarks that compare managed Postgres providers.
Supabase is acquiring Turso
Turso's multi-tenant SQLite platform lets an agent create a database as easily as creating a file, with on-demand provisioning and no dedicated machine required. Turso's Glauber Costa and Pekka Enberg join Supabase to build the infrastructure agentic workloads need, and existing Supabase and Turso databases keep running exactly as they do today.
