As of 2026-10-26T06:29:15Z: the one price page re-checked (Flodesk) is unchanged since the last run 56 minutes ago, and the Mailchimp picture is now firmer, with Intuit's own figures showing revenue down 1% and a new 2026 nonprofit integration.
[First name] Studio sells brand and email design to small businesses. It competes for budget with Canva (do-it-yourself design), Flodesk (design-led email), Mailchimp (the incumbent email platform) and Looka (AI logo and brand kit). This is the second edition, run 56 minutes after the first, so the main finding is stability: no list price on the Flodesk page changed, and my searches surfaced no new Flodesk or Looka news. Only Flodesk prices were re-fetched.
The new evidence is on Mailchimp. A Zacks analysis published on 13 October 2026 reports that Mailchimp's fiscal 2026 revenue fell 1% to $1.3 billion, while Intuit as a whole grew 14%. Intuit guides to $1.256 billion to $1.266 billion for fiscal 2027, and expects higher prices to offset more customer churn. Mailchimp therefore looks like a flat-to-slightly-declining, profit-focused business, and management expects higher effective prices. That may give some small businesses a reason to look elsewhere (my inference).
For [First name] Studio the conclusion stands. Sell the finished brand system applied to email, with a person accountable for it. Do not compete on price, because the self-service tools start at $0 to roughly $300 a year.
