Good morning, champions. Let's get after it today.

Meta's Muse agent passed ChatGPT on the App Store and hit millions of users doing actual errands , shopping, scheduling, logging in on their behalf. That's no longer demo-day science fiction; it's live usage at scale. So Meta wrote the protocol to make sure every app recognizes its bots.

In today's newsletter, we'll get into:

Five bullets of updates

Chemical-Free Farming Is Now Open To Investors

For decades, farmers have relied on herbicides and heavy equipment to control weeds.

Greenfield Robotics is working to change that.

BOTONY robots navigate crop rows and mechanically remove weeds, giving farmers an alternative to blanket herbicide applications and intensive tillage.

The potential benefits are significant:

And the market is enormous.

Greenfield estimates more than 250 million acres of broadacre cropland in the U.S., with more than 100 million acres in its initial serviceable market.

With the Reg A+ now live, investors can participate in Greenfield Robotics' growth story.

Utah approves acne meds by algorithm, doctors on read-only

Who let the robot write prescriptions?

In case you've been waiting for a doctor to finally see your acne, meet the doctor who isn't a doctor at all. Nolla Health just got Utah to greenlight the first fully autonomous AI prescription system in America. No physician signing off on your case. No human in the loop. Just an algorithm, a rash, and a legally valid script in minutes.

Here's the part that should keep every regulated-industry founder up at night. Six months ago this was a white paper. This week it's live, legal, and sanctioned by a state medical board. The usual decade-long regulatory slog just collapsed into months. And acne is just the opener: three more conditions are already queued behind it.

Meanwhile, back at the telehealth incumbents… everyone's still optimizing scheduling flows while paying human doctors to rubber-stamp every single visit. That "human-in-the-loop" badge they've been selling? Utah just called it superfluous.

The sneaky ripple lands on the insurers. Malpractice actuarial models are built on human error rates and physician liability. When the provider is code, the whole table gets re-rated.

The founder lesson, for anyone building in a gatekept industry: don't just design for clinical efficacy. Design for the regulatory pathway to full autonomy, and scout the states brave enough to say yes first.

Looking a few weeks out: watch which three conditions Utah names next. That list is the real battlefield.

How would I run a startup (If I had to start over)

I've been steering Slidebean for a good decade now, and while my millionaire dreams haven't quite materialized, that's all part of the journey, right?

Meta, Walmart and the quest to standardize your bot chaos

Meta just skipped the line to the future.

Here is the plain version: the "user" you built your whole product around is quietly being replaced by a bot that shops, schedules, and logs in on someone's behalf. That changes everything underneath you.

The proof is Muse, Meta's personal agent. Since its launch in early September, it climbed to the top of Apple's App Store, passed ChatGPT, and racked up millions of U.S. users doing errands.

So Meta did what you do when you want to own the plumbing: it wrote the plumbing. Alongside Walmart, Stripe, and Sierra, it is publishing an open standard called the 'personal agent protocol.' Think OAuth, but for bots. Authentication, visibility, control. David Singleton, ex-Stripe CTO, calls it "rails."

And here is the reactive camp. Amazon blocked Meta's and Perplexity's agents, then sued Perplexity in November 2025 for allegedly concealing its agents. Build the rails or dig the moat. Nobody's doing nothing.

For you, building auth, APIs, or identity tools, the opening is obvious. When "user" splits into human and synthetic agent, someone has to tell them apart, permission them, and bill them. That tooling doesn't exist yet.

The tell worth watching: OpenAI and Anthropic aren't in the coalition. Taylor expects them to join. Until they do, the standard isn't settled. Neither is your window.
