Tell Congress: America's Story Belongs in America's Parks
America’s parks should tell our full story, including people and movements that shaped the fight for civil rights. Yet attempts to erase or downplay that history put it at risk. Thanks to TPL advocates, the Renewing the African American Civil Rights Network Act has cleared a key hurdle in Congress! Urge Congress to pass it—and protect public lands and historic sites that preserve America’s story.
Hint: TPL and partners are working to create safe access points, improve the trail network, and restore the forest for people and nature in this 90-acre wonderland.
Advisory board members are TPL advocates, ambassadors, and donors who help increase our impact through philanthropy, advocacy, connections, and strategic guidance.
