| Friend,
We all see the major disasters that make national news: videos of hurricanes ripping apart homes or floods driving out communities. But for every major disaster, there are hundreds that don’t receive the same attention — each changing the lives of countless people forever. The American Red Cross responds to 165 disasters each day, including home fires, storms, floods and more. We meet immediate needs like warm meals and shelter but also provide long-term financial assistance to help families get back on their feet. But at a time where we respond to twice as many major disasters compared to ten years ago, your support is more critical than ever in making our work possible. We’re setting a goal to raise $25,000 by Thursday at midnight to respond to disasters big and small, newsworthy and otherwise. So please, will you give today to help us respond to 165 disasters each day and provide families with the lifesaving relief and compassion they urgently need? |

| No one can prevent disasters or predict exactly when they’ll strike. But, with your help, we can stay prepared to deploy at a moment’s notice and offer a helping hand to those who need it most.
That’s why your support is so important today. Please give to help us reach our $25,000 goal by Thursday at midnight. Every dollar will give us the resources we need to respond to disasters big and small, wherever and whenever they occur. |
